Vacation!

Last weekend our friends, the Strom's, invited us to go stay at their condo in Mesquite. I was a little nervous to go since Colby has never really slept anywhere else besides his own bed. Yep, that's right we don't go on vacations. I just couldn't get excited about taking time off work and spending money on a vacation that could turn into more of a hassle now that we have Colby. I'm happy to report that Colby did awesome. Probably because the Strom's have 2 boys that Colby had a good ol' time running around with. I don't think he's ever been so exhausted in his life.

This is the view from the back porch. You open the door and you're sitting on one of the holes of the golf course. It was awesome. You can't see but Colby is holding a golf ball. This is what wore him out. Chasing golf balls.

The pool in the condo complex was closed for some reason so we snuck into the pool at Casablanca. The water was FREEZING even though it was 100 degrees!! Did Colby care? Not one bit. He was shivering the whole time but loved every minute of it and did not want to get out. Good thing he has daddy who will be freezing with him and tow him around. Colby was in heaven just floating around. At the pool they have this small waterslide that Darren took him down and Colby thought it was the coolest thing ever. He kept saying slide over and over and over. He is definitely our little fish!
