4th of July and Summer Fun

For the 4th of July we went to our annual swim party at Darren's aunts house.  Colby doesn't get out of the pool the whole time we are there, which is about 5 hours. 

Then just our little family went and did our own dinky fireworks.  Unfortunately, most of the time our kids were terrified.  Reese started to warm up to the idea a little bit when we were done.

Next year we may just have to get 200 boxes of sparklers, because that is all they really cared about.

It has been a low key summer.  The last day before he started Kindergarten, I took Colby on a "Mommy, Colby Fun Day" to Cowabunga Bay, while my mom watched Reese.  It was so nice to just hang out with him one on one.  He would now like to do "Mommy, Colby Fun Day" everyday.
